Rachel Francois – MIA Nanaimo Rep
Rachel Francois is a professional runner, communicator, and coffee enthusiast who grew up in St. Albert, Alberta. She moved to Victoria, BC in 2011 to pursue her dreams of representing Canada on the world stage at the Olympic Games. She attended the University of Victoria, a 2017 graduate in History with a Professional Writing Minor.
Rachel is a four time Canadian University champion in the 600m and a two time University of Victoria Female Athlete of the Year. She has represented Canada on five national teams and was voted for a varsity highlight award in her final year by her teammates, to honour her commitment to teamwork and leadership.
She believes in the fearless pursuit of dreams and is passionate for social justice, while giving back in whatever way she can.
