Chevi Rabbit is a Faculty Member for the Makeup Artist Certificate Course at the International Association of Professionals Career College, Motivational Speaker, local personality and Senior Makeup Artist for Western Canada Fashion Week. With both business and makeup skills, As accredited makeup professional Chevi has earned a solid reputation as an accomplished professional makeup artist. She has worked for prestige brands at Holt Renfrew and Sephora, offered numerous workshops to the public and provided one-on-one services to celebrities and models such as Mrs. Universe and Canadas Top Model. She also acquired valuable industry knowledge while working at Fashion Week and for top fashion designers, photographers, advertisements, and fashion editorials. She has been special guest makeup artist at many other events, and also donates she time and services to assist underprivileged women.
Chevi grew up in a small farming town and has become a prominent member of the LGBTQ community. she is the founder the annual event from Hate to Hope. A awareness campaign that is in pursuit of equality in our province through this amazing celebration of diversity and has attracted many prominent politicians and community leaders. In April, 2014 Chevi was the recipient of the 2014 Justice Minister’s Award for Hate Crime Awareness. Finally, Chevi took on a leadership role in the political arena. As Campaign Manager for an Political candidate, both provincially and federally, Chevi was front and center in discussing and deliberating campaign strategies.
